DiMAURO, ANGELO DiMauro, Angelo, 68 of Middletown, husband of Grace (Alecci), passed away peacefully on Wednesday August 13, 2014 at Hartford Hospital surrounded by family and friends. He was born on April 10, 1946, in Melilli, Sicily, the son of the late Joseph and Josephine DiMauro. Prior to his retirement, he was Director of Manufacturing Engineering at JT Slocomb and Gros-Ite Industries. He enjoyed hunting, gardening, soccer, and most of all spending time with his family. Besides his wife Grace, he is survived by his children, Joseph DiMauro and his wife Lori, Vito DiMauro and his wife Jennifer, Annette DiMauro and Mark Clinton, and Lisa DiMauro and Sebastian Monarca, as well as his three grandsons, Joseph, Enzo, and Anthony DiMauro. He is also survived by his brothers Rosario DiMauro and wife Rose, and Sebastian DiMauro and wife Mary, as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Salvatore DiMauro and his sister Annette Italia, both of Italy. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 9 AM at D'Angelo Funeral Home, 22 South Main St., Middletown, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM at St. Sebastian Church, Middletown. Burial will follow in St. Sebastian Cemetery, Middlefield. Friends may call on Monday from 5 to 8 PM at D'Angelo Funeral Home. Memorial donations may be made in his memory to the Helen and Harry Gray Cancer Center, Hartford. - .
