Angelo S. Aresco, 92 years old, a lifelong resident of Middletown Connecticut graced the heavens to be
home with God on Monday, December 17, 2018 surrounded by his loving family. Born in Middletown
"By the Connecticut River on Front Street" on May 8, 1926, son of the late Salvatore and Maria
(Lombardo) Aresco. "Ange" was married to the late Lucille Perrin Aresco the love of his life for 58 years.
He leaves behind a daughter Beverly Amato and son-in-law Michael Amato and Daughter Amanda
Aresco. He was predeceased by his beloved son Paul S. Aresco. Ange was the owner of Aresco's Auto
Electric in Middletown for 35 years serving the Middletown Community with pride. A highly respected
auto electrician by trade he proudly served in the United States Army during World War II utilizing his
mechanical skills. After retirement Ange served the Town of Middletown as an election moderator until
his 90's. Known as "Poppi" to his Grandchildren he leaves behind four cherished grandchildren, Alysia
Amato of Newington, Michael Amato Jr. of Utah, Sydney Avery and David Price both of Vernon. Two
sisters-in-law Beverly Ghezzi and Maureen Ahearn. He is predeceased by two sisters Jean Cannata and
Theresa Del'Conte, a niece Patricia Ghezzi and nephew David Ghezzi.

A man devoted to family he also has leaves behind many beloved nieces and nephews and their
spouses, special neighbors Dave and Patsey Cyr, and devoted homemaker Deborah Oliver. Relatives and
friends are welcome to join the Aresco Family from 8:30 to 10:30 A.M on Thursday, December 27,2018
at the D'Angelo Funeral Home, 22 South Main Street, Middletown. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow
at 11:00 AM at St. Pius X Church, 310 Westfield Street. Burial will follow at St. Sebastian Cemetery.
