Anna Misenti Timbro Rotondi
January 24, 2025 – Palm Coast, Florida
Anna Misenti Timbro Rotondi, 97, of Palm Coast, Florida, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 24th, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Melilli, Italy, Anna migrated to the United States in 1962, making her home in Middletown, Connecticut, where she resided for 50 years before moving to Florida.
Anna was the beloved wife of the late John Rotondi and predeceased by her first husband, Michele Timbro. She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Elenora DiMauro and Maria Saraceno, and her brother, Joseph Misenti. Anna was the daughter of Salvatore and Giulia (Marchese) Misenti.
She is survived by her two children, Sofia Augeri and her husband John, and Sebastian Timbro and his wife Dianne, all of Palm Coast, Florida. Her legacy also lives on through her cherished grandchildren: Nella (Paul) Bajgier, Michele (Mark) Tine, Michael (Cheryl) Timbro, Mark Timbro, Kristan (Damian) Dontfraid, and Kelli-Ann (Michael) McDonald. Anna was a proud Nonna to fourteen great-grandchildren and fourteen great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters Filomena Annino and Flavia (Fred) DiBiasi from Ohio, her sister-in-law Tina Misenti, several nieces and nephews, and her dear friend Young Sun Chu.
Anna was a devoted wife, loving mother, and adoring Nonna. Known for her kindness, warmth, and unwavering dedication to her family and faith, she touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. She spent her life caring for her family, nurturing them with her love, and enriching their lives with her many talents.
Her passions included sewing, knitting, crocheting, needlepoint, and gardening, but above all, she loved cooking for her family. Her home was always filled with the scents of home-cooked meals and the warmth of her presence. Anna was a devoted member of St. Sebastian Church and Gianelli's Early Learning Center, where she was known for her strong faith and service to the community.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, February 6th, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Sebastian Church in Middletown, Connecticut. Burial will follow in the family plot at St. Sebastian Cemetery in Middlefield. Friends are invited to call at DeAngelo's Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 5th, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Sebastian Church, 155 Washington St., Middletown, CT 06457, in honor of Anna's memory and her enduring love for her faith.
Anna's light and love will be deeply missed, but her legacy will live on in the hearts of all who loved her.
