Anna B. Scirpo, 102, of Middletown, wife of the late Paul Scirpo, passed away on April 23, 2017 at the Middlesex Convalescent Home. Anna was born on August 7, 1914, daughter of the late Walter and Martha (Rybcyk) Ptak. She is survived by two sons, Joseph Scirpo of Middletown and Paul Scirpo of Portland, two grand daughters, Pamela Marino and Darlene Scirpo-Lovelace, a great grandson Joey Marino and great grand daughter Christina Marino. Besides her parents, Anna is predeceased by four brothers, Walter, Bruno, Frank and Stanley Ptak as well as four sisters, Mary Ptak, Janet Sye, Stella Comeau, and Sophie DiMauro as well as a daughter in law, Ann Colonghi Scirpo. Family and friends may call at the D'Angelo Funeral Home, 22 South Main St, Middletown, on Thursday from 8:00 AM - 9:30 AM with a Mass of Christian burial at 10:00 AM at St. Sebastian Church. Burial will be held in the family plot in Calvary Cemetery Middletown. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Holy Apostle Seminary, 33 Prospect Hill Rd, Cromwell, CT 06416. -
