Antonietta   ( Lagana) Pitruzzello

Antonietta ( Lagana) Pitruzzello, 86, wife of Nicolo Pitruzzello of Middletown. Passed away Saturday September 3, 2016 at Middlesex Hospital. She was born June 4, 1930, in Melilli Sicily, daughter of the Late Joseph and Sebastiana ( Guliano) Lagana. She was a member of St. Sebastian Church. Prior to her retirement she was employed as a seamstress.

Besides her husband she is survived by a Son Carl J. Pitruzzello and daughter in law Mary C. Pitruzzello. Three brothers Sebastian Lagana, Ugo Lagana and his wife Virginia and Benito Lagana and his wife Nancy. Two sisters Ottavia Scianna

And Flavia Didato and her husband Louis. A sister in Law Mary Lagana. Four Grandchildren Nicholas J. Pitruzzello, Eric M. Pitruzzello, Michael J. Pitruzzello and Benjamin T. Pitruzzello. And several Nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her Sisters Maria Germano and her husband Gaetano, Bianca Tringali and her husband Frank, Brother in law Sebastian Scianna, and a Brother Salvatore Lagana, and sister in law Zina Lagana. And an infant son Carlo G. Pitruzzello

Funeral Services will be held Friday morning at 9 A.M. from the D'Angelo Funeral Home 22 South Main St followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 A.M. at St. Sebastian Church. Burial will follow in the family plot in St. Sebastian Cemetery, Middlefield. Relatives and friends may call at the Funeral Home Thursday from 4-7 P.M. In Lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to Middlesex Hospital   Dept. of Philanthropy 28 Crescent, Middletown
