Sajek, Barbara L.
Barbara L. Sajek, 65, of Middletown, wife of John P. Sajek, passed away on January 26, 2018 at Hartford Hospital. She was born on October 11, 1950, daughter of Theodore and Sophie (Novotinski) Zawacki. Barbara is survived by her husband, John Sajek, of Middletown, a son Christopher Sajek and his wife Stefanie of Middletown, a daughter Andrea Longnion and her husband Donald of Sanford, FL, a brother Daniel Zawacki and his wife Christine of Middlefield and a sister, Gail Seiferman and her husband Thomas of Danielson CT. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Harley, John, Christopher Jr, Sofia, Alyssa and Matt along with several nieces and nephews. Barbara was employed as a Unit Secretary at Middlesex Hospital. Family and friends may call at the D'Angelo Funeral Home, 22 South Main St, Middletown, on Monday from 5:00 -8:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday morning at 11:00 a.m. at St. Colman Church in Middlefield, followed by the burial in St. Mary's Cemetery in Portland. Friends are asked to go directly to the Church on Tuesday morning.
