Carmelo " Mike" Gionfriddo 88, husband of the Late Barbara ( Parmalee) Gionfriddo passed away on Wednesday at Middlesex Hospital, He was born

December 6, 1928, in Middletown, son of the late Alfonso and Carmelina ( Carta) Gionfriddo. He was U.S. Air force Veteran. Prio to his retirement he was employed by Standard Knapp.

He is survived by a Son Michael Gionfriddo of Friskdale Mass. Two daughters Karen Whittlesey of Wethersfield and Lisa Nettis of Middletown.7 Grandchildren 2 Great Grandchildren and several Nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a daughter Lynn Oakley, A brother Sebastian Gionfriddo and Sister Anna Passarino

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday at 12 noon at the D'Angelo Funeral Home 22 South main St. Burial with military honors will be in the State Veteran's cemetery, Middletown. Relatives and friends may call at the Funeral Home Wednesday morning from 10 until noon
