Obituary

Concettina Passamano Mazzotta 84, of Middletown, Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at
home onTuesday, January 22, 2019. She was born on February 18, 1934 in Melilli Sicily. Her parents
were Giuseppe Passamano and Josephine Ribera. She is pre deceased by her loving Husband Salvatore
Mazzotta. She is survived by her daughter Emanuela (Nellie) Mazzotta, Her son Frank Mazzotta, and her
daughter Josephine ( Tina) Mazzotta Raffa, her Son in law Luigi Raffa, Her Grandchildren Stefano C Raffa,
Allesandra Mazzotta, Luigi S Raffa, Michael Mazzotta, Luca J Raffa, and Carmelo M Raffa. She leaves
behind her two sisters Lydia Passamano Fazio of Melilli and Maria Passamano Nicotra of Messina., and
several Nieces and Nephews.

She is predeceased by Her Niece, Agata Fazio, Her two Sister's Nella Passamano and Angelina
Passamano Liseo r Her three brother in laws Salvatore Liseo, Sebastiano Fazio and Emilio Nicotra.

Her Family will always remember her smiling face and laughter. Concettina was a loving wife to her late
Husband and devoted Mother, Grandmother and friend to all. She enjoyed celebrating life to the
fullest. She enjoyed gatherings, family picnics and entertaining. Her laughter and smile were
contagious. She enjoyed cooking for her family and friends especially preparing her famous Minestra di
San Guiseppe for St. Joseph day on March 19 t h • She loved to share her heart and home with everyone
she encountered.

Calling hours will be Monday, January 28th" 5 -7 at D'Angelo's Funeral Home 22 S Main St Middletown
Ct. The Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, January 29 t h at 10:00 am at St. Sebastian Church .
Burial will follow in the family plot in St. Sebastian Cemetery

The family ask that in Lieu of flowers, donation can be made to the American Cancer society or to St.

Sebastian Church (Renovation fund).

A special thank you to our cousin MaryHelen Saraceno, who never left her side, and Susan Sienko and

Paula Nadeau who were always there for her. We would, also like to thank Concettina's "Friday Coffee
Club" friends Violet Bladek, Nancy Arscebello r Susan Sienko, and Sandra. The family wishes to extend
their thanks to Dr. Rosener and her team along with the Middlesex Hospice Home Care for the life
ending care they gave Concettina.
