Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, cousin, and friend, Constance Joan DeMino (Marino), of Rocky Hill, passed into the arms of our Lord on 07/09/2018.  She was 82 years young. B orn on March 19, 1936 in Middletown C onn, Connie grew up in Cromwell with her parents Minnie and Harry Marino and brother Bud .  She met her college sweetheart and future husband Ed at what was then known as Central Connecticut State Teacher ' s College in the mid 1950 ' s. Connie and her best friend Ed were married in 1956 and squeezed in a lot of life into more than 61 y ears of marriage. Connie and Ed were always on the go. She raised 3 sons and then went on to become a teacher in the Cromwell School System before leaving for an 18-year career as a staff assistance at the Hartford Courant. Her greatest joys were family, f riends, and love of all animals, especially dogs. Holiday and Sunday afternoon meals without Connie will never be the same. Her spaghetti sauce was second to none. Food was one of the many ways she expressed her love and no one would ever leave her house h ungry. The impact she made on everyone she touched is immeasurable. To know Connie was to love her.

S he is survived by her husband Edward, sons John, Jim and his wife Karen and grandson Joe, her brother Bud and his wife Carol Marino and their son Carl and his family, Aunts Marie Milardo and Lillian Cota, nieces Maria, Lauren, Carla (DeMino), and many cou s ins and countless friends.

The family would like to thank Connie ' s care givers and the staffs of the Middlesex Cancer Center and Middlesex Hospital Hospice for their extraordinary loving care.
