Dennis A. DuPuis, 79, of Cromwell, husband of Virginia Vinci DuPuis, died Monday, June 4, at home surrounded by his family. Born in Rumford ME, he was the son of the late Joseph and Jeanette (DeLano) DuPuis. Besides his wife, he is survived by children, Cathy Loura and Ron Manyak, Joseph DuPuis and Crystal, Richard Vinci and Lisa, Robin Pavano and Paul, Tracy Albanese and Gary; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren; brothers, Robert of East Hartford and Marc of AZ; nieces, nephews and his dog, Bella. Dennis was predeceased by his granddaughter, Nicole DuPuis; two sisters, Jeannine Ahearn and Jacqueline Cassin; brother Joe DuPuis and step-brother Dick Bowley. #2308, enjoyed golfing with his buddies at Westwoods, watching UCONN basketball games and spending time with his family and friends. His son, Joey, called him "Bon Homme", (good man), and Dennis will always be remembered as a truly good man. Friends may call at D'Angelo Funeral Home, 22 South Main St, Middletown, on Thursday from 5-7:30pm. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 10 am at St. John's Church, Cromwell where a mass of Christian burial will be celebrated. Interment will be at Rose Hill Memorial Park, Rocky Hill.
