Donald Allan Wilson, son of Alexander and Mary Wilson, passed away peacefully after a brief illness at Middlesex Hospital on December 17, 2020 at the age of 86.  Born on April 3rd in Middletown, CT, he earned his Bachelor's Degree from Central Connecticut State University in 1960 and his Master's Degree in Education from the University of Hartford in 1964.  Don realized his dream of being an educator teaching in the Glastonbury School System for 8 years, before he became principal of Academy School in Glastonbury, CT for 20 years.  He served in the Army during the Korean Conflict and was a member of the Middletown Elks Club.

He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Lucille; daughters Michele Kelsey and husband Dean of North Carolina and Alisa Barnett of Colchester, CT; 5 grandchildren (Dean II, Christopher, Nicholas, Marissa and Jack) and 4 great granddaughters.  Don was known for his love of his family and sense of humor.  He was beloved by family and friends and will be missed.

Due to the pandemic, a live-streamed private mass will be held at St. John's Catholic Church on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 @ 10:00 a.m. (https://saintjohn-cromwell.org/live-streaming). A celebration of his life will be planned by the family in 2021 after COVID restrictions are eased.
