Douglas (Doug) Ruimerman,of Middletown, CT, went home to be with his Lord on Sunday, February 9th, 2025.

Doug was the son of the late Cecelia (Grippo) and Hendrick Ruimerman formerly of Middletown CT, and was pre-deceased by his oldest sister, Margaret (Peggy) Fabian (Steve). He is lovingly remembered by his siblings, Frank (Katie), Paul (Dodie), Duffy Rodriguez and Liz Aresti (Bob). He graduated Woodrow Wilson High School in Middletown, and after more than 30 years of service retired from  Northeast Utilities.

Doug married the love of his life, Dolores Popalardo. Their life was filled with over 50 years of love, devotion, and unwavering support until Doug's passing.  In addition to his wife Dolores, Doug had two great loves in his life: His Lord Jesus Christ and his friends and family.
