EARL R. HillS Jr. Earl R. Hills Jr, 63, of Middletown, passed away on October 21, 2013 at the Veterans Hospital in West Haven. Born in Middletown he was the son of the Late Earl R. Hills Sr. and the Late Bessie ( Hall Hills. Earl Served with the US Army and was a Vietnam Veteran serving with the B. Co. 704 Maintenance Battalion, He received these medals, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with 2 bronze stars, Vietnam Campaign Medal with 60 Device Aircraft Crewman Badge and Army commendation Medal. Upon his return he worked at E.I.S. Brake Parts for over 20 years. Earl Loved music and to play his Gibson guitar. He especially love his cat hey you . Earl will be missed by his family and friends. He is survived by five sisters Leila ( Hills ) Shea and her husband Paul of Mansfield, Dianne ( Hills ) Dykas and her husband Steve of Middletown, Donna ( Hills) Parenti and her husband Robin of Chaplin, Lisa ( Hills) Chrzanowski and her husband Stanley IV of Haddam and Amy ( Hills) Platt and her husband T.C ( Thomas) of Goshen New Hampshire. Also many nieces and nephews he is predeceased by a brother David Hills. A Celebration of his life will be held Weds from 6-8 P.M. at the DAngelo Funeral Home 22 South Main St. Burial with Military Honors will be Thursday at 11 A.M, at the State Veterans Cemetery, Middletown.
