Emanuella ( Nellie) Milardo Fererico 94 of Middletown, passed away on October 14, 2015. Born January 6. 1921 to the Late Emanuele and Gaetana ( Milardo, she will be reunited with her brothers and sisters in Heaven- Anthony Milardo, Anna Tosto, Sebastian Milardo, Joseph Milardo, Jennie Rivizza and Florence Uccello, She is survived by a Sister Connie and her husband Edward Sadlowski of Middlefield. Also a brother in law Tom Rivizza and sister in law Lucille Milardo. Having had no children of her own her 14 nieces and nephews, 17 great nieces and nephews and 11 great great nieces and nephews were the love of her life. She enjoyed watching them grow and learning about life. She was an avid reader and acquired and enormous library of books. Her love of knitting and crocheting created many beautiful baby sweater sets, mittens and blankets. She was very sociable, enjoyed conversations and continued to write letters to those she loved, The family would like to thank the entire Satff at Middlesex Health Care, where she resided this last year and a half of her life. There she found many new friends that were caring and compassionate in her daily life. Relatives and friends may call at the D'Angelo Funeral Home 22 South Main St on Wednesday morning from 9-10:30 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 A.M. at St. Colman Church, Middlefield.
