Gaetina (Lardizzone) Pattavina
Gaetina (Lardizzone) Pattavina, 95, of Middletown, wife of the late Sebastian J. Pattavina, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on Saturday, April 1, 2023. Born in Middletown on January 17, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Dominick and Sebastiana (DiMauro) Lardizzone and lived in Middletown all her life.
A loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother will go on her final journey to join her husband, Sebastian, in their eternal place of rest.
Her profound presence on this earth, of love, kindness, devotion and generosity can never be replaced. She will be missed not only by her family, but everyone she has touched over her 95 years.
She leaves behind her three sons and their spouses: Joseph and Joyce Pattavina, Jeffrey and Jane Pattavina, Gary and Paula Pattavina all residing in Middletown; two brothers, Guy Lardizzone (his late wife Marilyn) of Portland and Louis Lardizzone of Middletown; five grandchildren, Thomas (Patience) Pattavina, John Pattavina, Matthew (Lindsey) Pattavina, Michael (Christine) Pattavina, and Stephen (Tamara) Pattavina; as well as five loving great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held the morning of April 11th, calling hours will be from at 9 am to 10:30 am at the D'Angelo Funeral Home, 22 South Main St., Middletown, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at St. Sebastian Church. Burial will be in the family plot in St. Sebastian Cemetery, Middlefield.
