Jeannette Tellier Scianna, devoted wife of Peter Scianna, passed away peacefully on June 21, 2022 after a long battle with dementia. She is survived by her daughter, Maria Scianna Dowd and her husband Otto Dowd, and was predeceased by her son, Paul Scianna. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.
Jeannette was born on March 4, 1935 in Taftville, CT to Wilfred and Delia (Bellerose) Tellier. Jeannette was predeceased by her siblings, Lucille Messina of Middletown, CT, "Sister" Sarah of New Skete, NY and Pauline Estes of TX.
Jeannette loved music. She was an avid piano player and singer. She was a member of the Middlesex Hospital Vocal Chords and St. Sebastian's Church Choir.

Friends may call at the D'Angelo Funeral Home, 22 South Main St., Middletown, on Tuesday, June 28th from 4-6 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on June 29th, at 10:00 a.m., at St. Sebastian Church, 155 Washington St. in Middletown, followed by interment in the family plot in St. Sebastian Cemetery in Middlefield.
