Joanne Pulino, 92, Wife of the Late Umberto Pulino of Middletown passed away on November 11, 2023, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born July 21, 1932, in Rosolini Sicily, daughter of the late Salvatore and Theresa Pulino. Prior to her retirement she was employed by the Coat shop and Lerner's Fur in Middletown CT. She was wholeheartedly devoted in the catholic faith attending mass every week. Joanne enjoyed family gatherings and always made sure a holiday or birthday was not missed with a cerebration.
She is survived by two daughters: Marisa Scarrozzo and her son-in-law Matthew of Middletown and Silvia Pulino of Middletown. Two brothers Frank Pulino and his wife Jessie of Sacramento, CA and Anthony Pulino and his wife Carol of Meriden, CT. Her beloved grandchildren Melinda (Corrado) Ganci, Giuseppe (Ali) Pugliares, Daniel Pugliares.
Great-grandchildren, Julia (James), Antony, Giordano, Isabella, Gianluca, Nellisa and many nieces and nephews. With many thanks to her Special Care Giver Mayvis.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday morning November 17, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at St Sebastian Church with burial to follow in the family plot with her Husband Umberto, in St. Sebastian Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the D'Angelo Funeral Home, 22 South Main St., on Thursday November 16, 2023, from 5 p.m. - 8 p.m.
