John Cardone of Middletown CT died on August 2 2017 after a long illness at Amber Woods Convalescence in Farmington CT with his family by his side.
He leaves behind his three daughters, Melanie Cardone of West Haven a Julie Turner and Son-in-Law Nathaniel Turner of Middletown
, Jill Gillette and Son-in-Law Charles Gillette of West Hartford and wife of 35 years then life long friend Nancy Balisciano Cardone. John also leaves behind his four grandchildren Nevin Sanchez, Ryley Turner, Caleb Gillette and Olivia Gillette and his brothers James Cardone, Mario Cardone, and sister Jenny Cave as well as his many nieces and nephews, in-laws and cousins.
John was born in New Haven CT on May 20 1950 to Mario Cardone Sr and Grace Fraleigh Cardone. Most of his life was spent in Meriden and Middletown CT while raising his family.
John had a very long career of over 30 years at United Aluminum in North Haven where he was a skilled Machinist.
John passes along his legacy of love for photography and physical fitness to his children and grandchildren. He loved his children and family and loved caring for others.
His memorial will be held on August 20 at D'Angelo's Funeral Home in Middletown CT from 1:00 - 3:00.
