JOHN J. LOMBARDI JR. John J. Lombardi Jr. 82, of Millbrook Rd, Middletown ,husband of Violet ( Misenti) Lombardi died February 14, 2014 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Middletown, the son of the late john J. Lombardi and rose ( Galanto) and step mother Pini ( LaBella) Lombardi. John was a Veteran of the Korean War serving with the US Army. Prior to his retirement he was employed by Pratt Whitney Aircraft. He is a lifetime member of the Elks Club in Middletown. Besides his wife he is survived by a daughter Roseanne Lombardi, A son John S. Lombardi and his wife Joanne; A sister MaryAnn Milardo. 6 grandchildren Tara Lombardi, Andrea Reska-Ford and her husband Lance, John Vecchitto, Christopher Vecchitto Kayleigh Lombardi and John Stephen Lombardi. 3 Great Grandchildren Melina Ford, Dominic Ford and Peter Golovach. And many nieces and nephews. A Special Thank You to Middlesex Hospital Hospice and Hospice homecare. A Mass of Christen Burial will Celebrated Friday at 10 A.M. at St. Francis of Assisi Church, elm St, Middletown. Burial with Military Honors will be in the State Veteran's Cemetery, Middletown. Relatives and friends may call at the D'Angelo Funeral Home 22 South Main St on Thursday from 5-8 P.M.
