John Patrick Milardo
December 02, 1963 - October 22, 2021
John Milardo of Willimantic Ct passed away unexpectedly at his home on
Friday. He was born in Middletown Ct and was the son of the late Frank
Milardo and Suzanne Cotrone-Milardo. John was a graduate of Killingly
High School and then went on to work for the Department of Corrections
as a kitchen supervisor. He then went on to manage and own several
pizza restaurants through the years. After his career in restaurants
he founded and operated the Windham Pawn Shop.
John enjoyed cooking, hunting, going to the casino and antiques, his
biggest joy in life was his daughter Katie. John is survived by his
brother Edward F Milardo of Murrells Inlet SC, sisters Amy Milardo of
Portland Ct and Bethany Milardo of Cromwell Ct. John also leaves his
nephews Ryan (Kelly) Milardo, Brady, Griffin, Dean Larrow, and Grayson
and Caleb Milardo. His nieces Sophia Larrow and Ava Milardo. His great
nephew Owen Milardo and great niece Emma Sue Milardo. John is also
survived by his uncle Patrick (Marylou) Milardo of Venice FL. John
also leaves behind three special children in his life Luis, Amaris,
and Carmen Luciano.
John will always be remembered for his heart of gold and his continued
love for family.
Calling hours and memorial will be held at D'Angelo Funeral Home South
Main Street Middletown Ct on October 26 from 9-11:30. Burial will be
private.
