Joseph Pagano

Joseph Pagano, 88 passed away on October 22, 2026. Joseph was born in Melilli, Italy. He immigrated to America with his parents, Salvatore and Josephine Pagano in 1957. He resided in Middletown, CT for 70 years. He worked at EIS Enterprises for 20 years and the Middletown Board of Education for 18 years. Joseph was a member of St. Sabastian Church in Middletown and one of the first members of the Son's of Italy in Middletown. He dedicated his life to his family and loved watching the UCONN girls' basketball team.Joseph leaves behind his beloved wife of 63 years Carla T. Pagano and daughter Josephine Gionfriddo, a sister Enza Tripoli residing in Kentucky, his grandchildren Daniela Bang her husband Brian Bang, Salvatore Gionfriddo, Michael Gionfriddo Jr. his fiancé Lindsay Lyons, great-grandchildren Josyah Gionfriddo, Arianna Coonradt, Briella Bang, Brian Bang Jr., Isabella Gionfriddo.Calling Hours are Tuesday October 27th 5-8 p.m. at D'Angelo's Funeral Home22 South Main St., Middletown.The funeral will be 10 a.m. Wednesday October 28th at St. Sabastian's Church 155 Washington St., Middletown.Donations can be made to St Jude Children's Hospital or St. Sebastian's Church.
