Josephine Zimmitti, 96, wife of the Late Salvatore Zimmitti, passed away on Saturday at Middlesex Hospital, surrounded by her family. She was born June 29, 1927, in Middletown, daughter of the Late Sebastian and Mary ( Amodio) Inferrera. She was a member of St. Sebastian Church and the Bereavement Committee,

She is survived by three Sons Vincent and  his wife Dianna ,Steven and his wife Rose of East Hampton and Michael and his wife Michelle Zimmitti of Cromwell, A sister Donna Gibson of  Hobe Sound Florida, A sister in law Florence Inferrera of Chester 7 Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by a brother Guy Inferrera. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday morning at 10 A.M. at St. Sebastian Church, Burial will be in the family plot in St. Sebastian Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the D'Angelo Funeral Home 22 South Main St on Thursday from 5-7 P.M.
