BRANCIFORTE, JULIA B. Julia B. Branciforte of Cromwell, wife of Sebastian M. Branciforte, passed away on April 25th at home after a long illness with her family at her side. Julia was born April 7, 1940 the daughter of the late Frank and Stephanie Bielot. She leaves behind a son, Joseph Branciforte and his wife Dena of Rocky Hill, and one granddaughter Dani. She is also survived by her sister Linda D'Aresta and husband Frank of Middletown; her sister Barbara Krieger and husband Roy; two aunts, Sophie Blaschik of Moodus and Terry Watke of Bridgeport; and several nieces and nephews. Julie worked at Pratt & Whitney in East Hartford for 14 years as a secretary in the Purchasing Department. Novels and old Western movies were her passion. She also loved spending time with her family, and will be remembered for her extreme generosity. A special thank you to the Middlesex Hospital Homecare Hospice team and Beverly King for caring for Julie. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Middlesex Hospital Homecare Hospice Unit or St Mary's Church. Calling hours are Thursday 4-7pm at D'Angelo's Funeral Home, 22 South Main St. Middletown. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday 10am at St. Mary's Church, 79 South Main St. in Middletown with burial at St. Sebastian Cemetery.
