LeRoy M Daniels

Leroy Daniels Jr., born February 14, 1947, known to many as "Pops", passed away peacefully May 26, 2026, surrounded by the love of family. Pops was a devoted Yankee's fan and known as a father figure to many. He was always willing to help those in need and lend a helping hand, with his joyous smile, kind heart and guidance. The loss is immeasurable, but so is the love left behind.He is survived by his three daughters, Natasha Lacroix, LeCinda Perez and Cassandra Daniels; as well as his five sons, Christopher Bartlett, Andrea Daniels, Terry Daniels, Victor Daniels, Timothy Daniels; and their families. He was predeceased by his son, Benny Daniels.He left a lasting impression on the community, working at Dattco, in Middletown, as a bus driver for 25 years. Touching the lives of many through his love of music, LeRoy started his career as a Disc jockey (DJ) known as "King Cobra" at WGOV radio station in Valdosta, Georgia; playing all the greatest hits, just as he was. He will forever be missed. Friends and family are invited to join in gathering to pay their respects and share memories on June 4, 2026, from 5 pm – 7pm at D' Angelo Funeral Home, located at 22 South Main St., Middletown
