Lucy Mary( Grimaldi) Iskra, 91, wife of Eugene Iskra of Middletown, passed away on November 17, 20017 at Ct. Hospice, Branford. She was born August 23, 1926 in Middletown, daughter of the Late Emanuel and Rose ( LaBella) Grimaldi. She was a member of St. Sebastian Church and prior to her retirement was employed by the Internal Revenue Service and the US Navy. She was a graduate of Middletown High Class of 1944.

Besides her husband of 53 years she leaves a son, Eugene Iskra jr. of Middletown and a daughter, Lucinda Balsome of Glastonbury. A sister and her husband Connie McCoy and Dean of Old Saybrook. Her beloved grandchildren Alexa ,Marissa, Cortney and Keith Balsome and many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Life will be held Wednesday from 6-8 at the D'Angelo Funeral Home 22 South Main St. Burial will be private. Lucy's family would like to thank Twanda and the staff of Allcare for their kindness and compassion shown to their mother it is greatly appreciated
