Margaret J Adams

Margaret D. (Misenti) Adams, 96, of Middletown, beloved wife of Leslie Adams, passed away on Wednesday, October 4, 2023. She was born in Middletown on July 12, 1927, daughter of the late Edward V. Misenti and Mary (Luistro) Misenti. Margaret attended Middletown High School. Her first job was at EIS Automotive Corporation, Middletown, she was also a sous chef at Monte Green Inn, Middletown for many years, and she retired from the City of Middletown. Margaret was a devoted parishioner of Saint Sebastian Church, volunteering her time at the annual Saint Sebastian Feast, she was also a member of the Children of Mary Society. Besides her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Maryann Misenti, sons, Les Adams and E. Vincent Adams, grandchildren, Sebastian Adams, Christopher Misenti and Falon Rose Adams, sister, Florence Giuliano, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sisters, Esther Monarca, Eleanor Rafala, and Constance Hoyle. Calling hours will be held at D'Angelo Funeral Home, 22 South Main Street, Middletown, on Monday, October 9th from 5-7 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at Saint Sebastian Church, Middletown, on Tuesday, October 10th at 11 a.m., interment will be at Saint Sebastian Cemetery, Middletown, immediately following the Mass. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Saint Sebastian Church Renovation Fund.
