Marjorie A. Gilletti
May 29, 1942 - February 03, 2021
Marjorie A. Gilletti 78, of Portland, CT passed away peacefully at
Middlesex Hospital after a long and courageous battle with cancer .
She was born in Middletown, CT on May 29, 1942 and lived in Portland
most of her life. She was the daughter of the late Guy Gilletti and
Rose (DeMerlo) Monarca.

Marjorie is survived by her sister Elaine Footit of North Branford,
her very beloved cousins Amy Milardo & her husband Neil of Portland
and Ryan Milardo & his wife Kelly and their two children Owen & Emma
Sue of Portland.  Marjorie also had two nieces Rose Lee , Lisa Sendra,
and two nephew's Bruce Footit & Brian Footit, along with their
families.  Marje also leaves behind her beloved dog Riley and was very
blessed to have many girlfriends who she thought of as sisters.

Marje was a graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School and attended Saint
Joseph University.  She started her very successful career in the life
claims insurance department  at The Hartford and then she  later
became a substitute teacher in the Hartford school system.

Marje traveled throughout her life and later loved the simple things
in life like going to the movies, going to lunch/dinner & shopping.
Enjoyed music, especially the Beatles. Marje had a zest for life & was
a strong courageous woman who will be  greatly missed.
