Melissa Marie Braun-Cross, 41 of Meriden, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday October 6, 2016. She was born in Middletown on June 22, 1975, the Daughter of Diane L. ( Braun) Snyder and Step father Joseph R. Snyder of Middlefield. She is survived by her daughter Victoria E. Cross of Meriden and her sister Amanda Hartwig and nephews Frankie, Braylon and Keagan of Enfield. Her Maternal Grandparents Mr and Mrs. Samuel St. Armand of Middlefield..Also several aunts and uncles and cousins.

She was a 1994 Graduate of Coginchaug Regional High School. She attended Middlesex Community College and graduated as a Nurses Aide. Melissa enjoyed working in the Health Care Field.. She loved animals and had many pets over the years. She is predeceased by her father Albert W. Braun and a daughter Marissa.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday morning at 10 A.M. at the D'Angelo Funeral Home 22 South Main St, followed by Burial in the family plot in Mica Hill Cemetery, Durham. Relatives and friends may call at the Funeral Home Wednesday morning from 8-10:30 A.M. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to her daughter Victoria Cross
