Molly Micciulla, 82, wife of Angelo P. Micciulla of Middlefield passed away Friday, July 17, 2015, at Middlesex Hospital. She was born Michellina Rizzo on April 13, 1933, in Middletown, daughter of the late Sebastiano and Rose (Marchese) Rizzo who hailed from Melilli, Sicily. In her younger years, Molly was employed by Wesleyan University. Besides her loving husband, she is survived by two sons, David Micciulla of New York, Mark Micciulla and his wife Janet of Rockfall, ; a daughter, Lori DePietro and her husband Thomas of Middlefield; and a sister, Evelyn Fields of Madison. She is also survived by five grandchildren who were her greatest joy: Jacqueline Mailhot and her husband Michael, Alissa Micciulla, Michael Micciulla Max Micciulla,. Molly also leaves several nieces and nephews who were dear to her. She was predeceased by a brother, Joseph Rizzo, and a sister, Mary Chuba. Molly will be remembered for her kindness, her strength and the love she had for her family, which was everything to her. Funeral services are private. There are no calling hours.
