Paul A. Tochko, 78, of 111 Church Street in Middletown passed away peacefully on April 16, 2013, in the care of the Middlesex Hospital Hospice Unit. He was predeceased by his parents, Blair B. and Audrey (Corbett) Tochko, late of 219 Farm Hill Rd. in Middletown. He is survived by a cousin, James Ward of Middletown. Paul was born on July 6, 1934 and attended both Woodrow Wilson High School and Vinal Regional Technical School where he received a Diploma in Automotive Mechanics in 1953. He was employed as a mechanic in the service department of W.L. Caulkins Auto Co. of Middletown from 1949 until it closed in 1982, and by the State of Connecticut until his retirement. The D'Angelo Funeral Home, 22 South Main St in Middletown is in charge of final arrangements. Calling hours will be from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM on Tuesday, April 23, 2013 at the funeral home followed by burial at St. John's Cemetery, Johnson St., Middletown, CT, AT 10:30 AM.
