Phillip Ray Kirk, Sr. passed away peacefully August 13, 2026, with family in Pembroke Pines, FL. He was born June 21, 1935, in Salsbury, NC to Margie Leoma Kirk. He was predeceased by his wife, Venerina (Vickie) LoGuidice, son Jeffrey along with his siblings, Barbara, Wayne and Donald. He served as an E4 Electrician in the US Navy submarine Force, 1952-1956 on the U.S.S. Blenny. While stationed in New London, he met the love of his life Vickie whom he married September 29, 1956, and built a life together in Middletown. He worked many years as a Cement Mason and served as Union Steward. Later went on to own and manage Middletown Lanes for more than 20 years. He was an avid Sponsor of Community youth and adult sports. He was a past president of the Middletown Little league. Phil was the guiding light for his family. He set an example of hard work and the importance of family. He is survived by his sister, June, his sons, Bruce and Phillip, his grandchildren Travis, Christopher, Lindsey, Shaunna, Ashton and Elaina and a great-granddaughter, Carmalina. The Memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. September 18, 2026, D'Angelo Funeral Home, 22 South Main, Burial services with Veterans' Honor Guard will follow at State Veterans Cemetery, Middletown, at 12 p.m.T
