Pompeo ( Ernesto) Carta, 84 of Middletown Ct, passed away on September 7, 2015. He leaves behind his loving and devoted wife of 59 years Elena ( Musumeci) Carta. His three daughters Phyllis Labarge , Anna Tanasi and Lori DiMauro. His son in laws Rich Tanasi and Joe DiMauro. Seven Grandchildren Michael Labarge, Melissa MacEachern and her husband Robbie MacEachern, Ashley Tanasi, Tyler Labarge, Amanda Labarge, Samantha Tanasi and Joseph DiMauro. His two great granddaughters Arianna MacEachern and Leah Labarge. He also leaves his sisters Amelia Messina, Enza Rodrigues and sister in law Rosetta Carta and six nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his father Francesco Carta and Mother Filomena Carta and Three brothers Amedeo, Salvatore and Aldo Carta and sister Sebastiana Morello. Pompeo survived many hardships and was a strong man who lived his life for his beloved family. Pompeo will be missed by many Funeral Services will be held Friday morning at 10 A.M. at the D'Angelo Funeral Home 22 South main St, Middletown. Burial will be in the family plot in Pine Grove Cemetery, Middletown. Relatives and friends may call at the Funeral Home Thursday from 5-8 P.M.
