Richard Nadolny

Richard Nadolny (April 4, 1953- October 28,2020)

Richard Nadolny, 67, of Middletown, CT, passed away on Wednesday, October 28, 2020 at Middlesex Hospital in Middletown, CT, following a brief battle with cancer. Originally from Ansonia, CT, Richard was the son of the late Joseph S. Nadolny, Sr. and Genevieve (DiMauro) Nadolny. A graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School in West Virginia, Richard went on to study at Middlesex Community College, graduating with an excellent academic record. R ic hi e was employed by MetLife for a number of years. In his free time, he was a huge fan of the New York Yankees, the Knicks, and the Giant s. His friends knew Richie as an incredibly kind and gentle man, whose smile will not be forgotten, nor his infectious laugh . He was known by his friends for his compassion and his generous heart. As one of his friends said, he was always willi ng to share what he had with others, even if that meant that he would go without at times. Perhaps his most endearing quality was that he was able to make everyone that knew him feel like they were the most important person to him. Clearly, he cherished the time he spent with family and friends. Prior to his passing, he served as the sacristan at Saint Pius X Church in Middletown, CT. A man of deep faith, he was loved by both the friars of Saint Pius and the parishioners. He is greatly missed by everyone who knew him. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at Saint Pius X Church, 310 Westfield St. i n Middletown, CT on Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at 11 AM. The parish would like to thank D 'Angelo Funeral Home for sharing this notification.
