SALVATORE LOGIUDICE Salvatore A. LoGiudice husband of Tina ( Aresco) LoGiudice of Middletown, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on October 15, 2014 at Middlesex Hospital. He was born January 17, 1926 in Melilli Sicily, son of the Late Vincenzo and Lucia ( Fazzino) LoGiudice. He was a member of St. Sebastian Church and the Italian Society of Middletown. Prior to his retirement he was employed by Goodyear Rubber and New Departure Divison of General Motors. Salvatore was a man of Pride, Integrity and had a heart of gold, He Cherished his time with his family and loved to be around his friends as well. He was a Son, Brother, Husband, Father, Grandfather, great grandfather, Uncle and nephew. He loved to reminisce of times when he was in Italy, his move to the United States, Hunting with the guys and his working days at Goodyear rubber and New Departure and had a passion for gardening. Besides his wife he is survived by two daughters Lucy Mazzarella and her husband Salvatore of Guilford and Sylvia Morello and her husband Sebastiano of Middletown. 7 grandchildren, Sally, Teresa,, Paul, Jessica, Anthony, Christine and Jennifer and 4 great grandchildren, Isabella, Elisandre, Angelina and Kaden, Also many nieces and nephews, Brother in Laws and sister in laws. He is predeceased by his former wife Teresa ( Pezzatti) LoGiudice and a brother Rosario. Funeral Services will be held Monday morning at 9 A.M. from the D'Angelo Funeral Home 22 south Main St, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial 10 A.M. at St. Sebastian Church. Burial will follow in the family plot in st. Sebastian Cemetery, Middlefield. Relatives and friends may call at the Funeral Home Sunday from 5-8 P.M. In Lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to DaVita Dialysis Center Main St, or St, Sebastian Church Renovation Fund 155 Washington St.
