Vincent Russo AKA . V.James Russo.
Father, Grandfather, Husband, Musician, Past President of the Middletown Jaycees, a veteran of the Korean war serving in country as a battalion medical aidman Corporate Executive, with a reputation for saving companies that were in serious trouble due to mismanagement. An author of two technical white papers published in national journals. A member of the Underwriters Laboratory Industry Advisor Board. Recognized by the California Fire Marshals Association for his contribution of technical knowledge of Life Safety Lighting. Recognized by the Illuminating Engineers Society, the recipient of many awards, invited to speak at the International Fire Protection Association, served as a consultant to the Army Corps of Engineers, the Navy and the air Force for UPS Power and lighting systems. Was honored to work for the popular singers of his time like June Vallie, Dinah Washington, Julius LaRosa, Don Cherry, Dion Warwick Roberta Peck as well as some if the finest musicians in the area. A talented woodworker, he loved making doll furniture for his grand daughters and scale model cars and trucks for his grandsons. He also made Christmas items for relatives and friends. He was born in Middletown January 18, 1934, son of the Late Sebastian and Jenny ( Lanza) Russo. . He is survived by his wife Marion " Vickie) Lavalle Russo. . Two sons Willam( Kathy) Russo and Sebastian ( Amy) Russo a Sister Helen Wojciki 4 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by 8 brothers and sisters . A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday October 6th at 11 A.M. at St Sebastian Church. Burial with Military Honors will be held In St. Sebastian Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the the D'Angelo Funeral Home 22 South Main St Thursday from 5-7 P.M.
